History

1984-2000

Dale and Nancy Lubs started Lubs Equipment & Supply Company as a sole distributor for Sullair products in central Indiana. In 1988 Doug Lubs, a Purdue University graduate in mechanical engineering and son of Dale Lubs starts with Lubs Equipment as a sales engineer. Products, such as dryers and natural gas, combined with new services, such as plant air audits, vibration analysis and laser alignment, were offered by Lubs Equipment in the 90’s.

2001-2003

The company name changed from Lubs Equipment & Supply Company to Lubs Technologies, Inc. in 2001. Also that year, the company was awarded the distributorship for Cooper Compression (now known as Cameron) for the central Indiana territory. In 2003, Doug Lubs acquires ownership and position of CEO of Lubs Technologies, Inc. from his father. Dale Lubs retires from the air compressor business. In addition, Lubs Technologies begins to offer the Transair compressed air piping systems to customers.

2005-present

In 2005, Lubs Technologies with CEO Doug Lubs becomes the authorized distributor for Cooper Compression (now known as Cameron) for Northern Illinois including Chicagoland. Continuing its track of aggressive growth, in 2006 the company’s Cooper territory expanded to include Northwest Indiana.
